São João Alimentos — Uruguaiana

About the Project

São João Alimentos already operated a 12-ton-per-hour production line. Pró-Terra worked on the industry’s expansion, installing two additional 12-ton-per-hour lines and raising the plant’s total capacity to 36 tons per hour.

The project included assembly of the handling flow, filtering system, Bühler and TAS equipment, connecting the new lines to the existing operational structure.

The execution also included repositioning the Indumak robot, adapting the end of line to the plant’s new configuration while the first line remained in operation.

The Challenge

Install and integrate two new 12 t/h lines without stopping the existing production line, coordinating handling, filtering, Bühler equipment, TAS and the repositioning of the Indumak robot within the industry’s active routine.

Applied Solutions

Pró-Terra delivered an industrial expansion solution covering assembly, integration and process adaptations:

  • Expansion of an operating industry
  • Installation of two new 12 t/h lines
  • Assembly of the handling flow
  • Installation of the filtering system
  • Assembly and integration of Bühler equipment
  • Repositioning of packaging machines
  • Integration with the existing line in operation

The result was a plant expanded to 36 tons per hour, with two new lines integrated into the original 12 t/h line, which remained in operation during project execution.
